This Award Recognizes
Special Awards Committee will choose up to ten (10) living or deceased firefighter/rescue squad members to be inducted into the hall of flame of the Allegany Garrett Counties Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association, to be awarded at the annual convention. These members show explementary service to either their department, Allegany Garrett Counties Volunteer Fire Rescue Association, or Maryland State Firemen’s Association.

Ambulance/Rescue Provider of the Year
The ambulance person of the year shows outstanding service to either fire or rescue department, Allegany Garrett Counties Volunteer Fire Rescue Association, or Maryland State Firemen’s Association.
Firefighter of the Year
A Firefighter that shows outstanding service to either department, Allegany Garrett Counties Volunteer Fire Rescue Association, or Maryland State Firemen’s Association.
